Device consists of a container which has a tin-coated and braid covered ceramic honeycomb insert and which has connection lines at the inlet side to the fuel filter and at the outlet side to the injection pump or carburettor. USE/ADVANTAGE - The device is used for doping fuel (e.g. diesel oil, gasoline or kerosene) with metal catalyst to reduce fuel consumption, prevent deposits ahead of and in the engine, catalyses combustion and improves engine lubrication. The device employs the same ceramic honeycomb as used in an exhaust catalyst, has a sufficient metal coating to provide doping over an engine life of beyond 200000 km. and has an extremely large surface areas.
