The beam distributor has oscillations produced by the excitation source transmitted by the coupling mechanism to a first mirror (S1) which also serves as a deflection mirror for the laser beam. The beam from the mirror (S1) produces on a rotating second mirror (S2) an area-covering pattern corresp. to the oscillations of the first mirror (S1). The velocity of motion of the laser beam, in accordance with the oscillation motion of the deflector mirror (S1), is not zero at any point on the reflector mirror (S2). At the same time, the beam does not go beyond the rim of the second mirror (S2). USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. for acceleration of ossification in case of bone fractures and/or for bio-stimulation of wound healing. It is more effective and simpler (and hence cheaper) than two possible alternatives involving respectively use of lenses and scanner system. Produces approximately homogeneous intensity over entire area subjected to radiation.
