The present invention relates to an identification film (1) for the cover panels, in particular of motor vehicle dashboards. It consists of a film sheet (2) made of a transparent, preferably thermoplastic material with a light-proof cover coating (4) which is applied to the film surface to be connected to the cover panel and with transparency areas (6) which are hollowed out from the cover coating (4) in the region of openings in the cover panel for light to pass through in particular in the form of identification symbols. The cover coating (4) extends essentially only over the areas of the openings for the passage of light, covering them at the edges. Of the rest of the film surface (8) which surrounds the cover coating (4) at least 25% is uncoated so that the film sheet (2) can be connected directly to the cover panel with material connecting means. <IMAGE> |
