The program checking process comprises the steps of storing a program in a memory and executing the program block by block with an animation image displayed on a screen. When an interference occurs between the two tools, a waiting M-code is inserted in a corresponding position of the program, depending on a priority parameter. The priority parameter specifies the priority between the two tools. When the first tool has a priority, a waiting M-code for the second tool is inserted, and visa versa. Thus the program is automatically corrected to prevent any interference.
