2129540 9321242 PCTABS00027 High molecular weight copolymers of ethylene and 0.5-10 mole percent branched .alpha.-olefins are disclosed. The polymers have Mw of 30,000-1,000,000, MWD of 2-4, a density of 0.85-0.95 g/cm3, and a high composition distribution breath index. Also disclosed are a method for making the polymers with a cyclopentadienyl metallocene catalyst system, and films, fibers, molded articles and other products made from the copolymers.
