<p>A heat-sensitive resistive element (2), in contact with the liquid, is supplied with a direct current output by a generator (3), and the voltage V(t) at its terminals varies after the current is set up, and the relative position of the element (2) and the surface of the liquid is determined on the basis of the appearance of the variation in the voltage V(t). The level of liquid in a casing (1) can therefore be monitored. In order to account for the ambient temperature, the function V(t) is detected then, using a differential amplifier (9), the first derivative @ of the function V(t) is detected, this first derivative being applied to an integrator amplifier (11) providing the integral of the derivative @, before calculation of the said relative position. <IMAGE></p> |
