PURPOSE:To improve producibility of a resin gear and its bending strength. CONSTITUTION:A continuous strand mat 1 is prepared by binding reinforced fibers such as glass fibers or carbon fibers by means of some thermosetting resin, and heated by means of a heater at a temperature of about 120. A sprocket roll and a silicone roll 8 are rotatably arranged adjacently to the heater 6. The rolls sandwich the heated mat 1 for forming sprockets, and then a preform is molded. The resin having reinforced fibers to be supplied to the preform is compressed and heated by a gear die for forming a resin gear. |
