<p>PURPOSE:To provide a car air bag sensor setting structure capable of clamping an air bag sensor rigidly on the cab inner side of dash panel without entailing any damage to noise insulation. CONSTITUTION:A specified part of an insulator 6 stuck to the cab 4 inner part of a dash lower panel of a car body is cut off, forming an opening 10. A stud bolt 12 is erected in the dash lower panel 2 being exposed to this opening 10. In succession, an L-shaped bracket 16 is clamped to this stud bolt 12, and the opening 10 is closed by what a cover member 30 stuck with a noise absorbing material 42 is clamped tight to the stud bolt 12, and an air bag sensor 20 is attached to an extending part 16a of the bracket 16 projecting into the cab 4.</p> |
