<p>PURPOSE: To provide a circuit arrangement which makes sure of the ignition of an air bag. CONSTITUTION: A circuit arrangement comprises a series connection circuit connecting in series two switches and an ignition squib 1 between a power supply 7 and earth; a processing unit 5 performing a triggering function and/or a monitoring function; and a safety arrangement 2 accompanying the processing unit 5. This safety arrangement 2 includes a means which is capable of disabling a power supply, which is connected to the series connection part between the two switches, and which has both a means for deriving a potential from the series connection and a means for disabling the power supply in response to the comparison made with a comparator 16 to compare the potential with a reference potential 17.</p> |
