PURPOSE:To produce intermediate voltage being one to two times as large as source voltage without increasing current being dissipated, in a switched capacitor type booster circuit. CONSTITUTION:The title booster circuit is composed of a smoothing capacitor 1, a charge supplying capacitor 2, first to fourth switches 3-6, a voltage regulation device 7, a power terminal 8, and an output terminal 9. Since the charge supplying capacitor 2 is charged to the source voltage minus the voltage drop of the voltage regulation device 7, the output terminal 9 outputs twice the source voltage minus the voltage drop of the voltage regulation device 7. |
