PURPOSE:To provide a navigation device which can digitally display the coordinate of any arbitrary position on a displayed map picture and can effectively utilize position coordinate data concerning the display processing of the navigation device for a moving body. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a position measuring means to measure its own position and to output its own position data, storing means to store map data, display means to display various information, display control means to display the map on the display means based on the map data and to display its own position on the map display based on its own position data, and further, this device is equipped with a position designating means to designate the arbitrary position on the map display, position coordinate calculating means to calculate the longitude and latitude of the real position coordinate corresponding to the designated position and to output them as the position coordinate data, and position coordinate display control means to digitally display position coordinates PCSR and PCAR on the map display. |
