PURPOSE:To easily and speedily select a desired accompaniment pattern by inputting the feature of the required accompaniment pattern for a retrieval condition by an operator and selecting the accompaniment pattern satisfying that condition. CONSTITUTION:A program memory 8 and a pattern data memory 10 are ROM and respectively store data concerning a program to operate a CPU 7 and the accompaniment pattern. Namely, a pattern item memory 10a of the pattern data memory 10 stores data showing the pattern numbers of the 101 kinds of accompaniment patterns, pattern names, tempo and data showing whether it is three serial systems or not for each part of a code backing, base and percussion instrument, environment and the other features. When the operator inputs the feature of the required accompaniment pattern as the retrieval condition, the accompaniment pattern satisfying that condition is selected and corresponding to the accompaniment pattern, automatic play is performed. |
