PURPOSE:To make it possible to output a stabilized DC voltage having suppressed ripple even when the load rate fluctuates without requiring any pseudo-load circuit which may cause loss by connecting a plurality of switching regulators in parallel and providing means for controlling the number of active regulators depending on the load rate. CONSTITUTION:When the load rates of switching regulators R1, R2 having rated output currents of 20A and 80A, respectively, drop and the total current supply drops below 20A, a control means 2 stops the regulator R2 and operates the regulator R1 at 100%. If the total current supply is higher than 20A, the control means 2 distrubutes the load rate such that the sum of output currents from the regulators R1, R2 will be equal to the total current supply within a range where the voltage ripples of the regulators R1, R2 do not exceed an allowable value. According to the constitution, a stabilized DC voltage having suppressed ripple can be outputted even when the load rate fluctuates. |
