<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a device capable of efficiently drying scrap metals washed and treated with an aqueous system detergent continuously without contamination. CONSTITUTION:A drier for scrap metals has an external cylinder 1, which is rotated centering around a shaft approximately positioned along the horizontal direction, on the internal surface of which a scraping-up blade 13 extended in the direction crossed with the direction of rotation is mounted and into which scrap metals to be treated are charged, and a heat-resistant body 2 being arranged at a position, where scrap metals scraped up by the scraping-up blade 13 in the external cylinder 1 fall, having a slant face 14 gradually directed toward the outside toward a lower section from an upper end and being kept at a high temperature.</p> |
