PURPOSE:To calculate an image point optimum for a photographic menu by performing filtering while selecting any optimum filter, calculating the center of gravity for a recording sheet, and defining it as the image point in an object. CONSTITUTION:The image point is calculated in an image point deciding step 3 based on an image signal Sp obtained by reading an image 2 on the recording sheet recorded the radiograph of an object. At such a time, any filter 4 is selected for emphasing the concerned area of the object optimum for the photographic menu in the case of photographing the object, and the image signal is filtered by this filter 4. In this case, collation data 5 stored in a memory corresponding to the filter 4 are prepared. Then, the optimum filter is selected by referring to the data 5 corresponding to the photographic menu inputted by a photographic menu input means 6. Next, the center of gravity is calculated based on the image signal Sp filtered by this filter 4, and the image point is decided. Thus, even when the photographic menu is changed, the image point in the object optimum for the photographic menu can be calculated. |
