<p>PURPOSE: To provide a fuzzy computer of a simple constitution which can operate at a high speed. CONSTITUTION: The fuzzy computer employs a method for performing fuzzy logic control over a system and the method has following steps. Namely, a step in which the computer is installed and supplied with a logical statement, a membership function as to the precedence of the logical statement, and a membership function as to the conclusion of the logical statement. A step in which respective logical statements are evaluated by fixing the conjugate value of the precedent membership function of the logical statements, the area of the conclusion membership function is multiplied by the conjugate value to obtain a weighted area, and the moment of the conclusion membership function is multiplied by the conjugate value to obtain weighted moment; and the conclusion of the logical statement is combined, the sum 32 of the weighted moment as to all logical statements is divided by the sum of weighted areas as to all the logical statements to generate a control signal, which is supplied to a controllable system function.</p> |
