PURPOSE:To provide a position display device compacted as the device itself in addition to a compact size as the whole system and capable of being properly and simply used. CONSTITUTION:Map data are read out from a map data storing memory and displayed on a display part, two positions on the read map data are specified by key operation and the position data of the two positions are stored in a position data memory. Then azimuth data of directions in which the two points are practically observed are keyed, an internal calculation circuit calculates the position data of a current position from the position data of the two points and the azimuth data. Since the position data of the current position calculated by the calculating circuit are displayed on the map data as a mark M or the like, the current position can be immediately known by the extremely simple key operation. |
