<p>PURPOSE:To shorten a reading/writing access time of data from/to a storage medium. CONSTITUTION:By a control part 6, when the medium housed on a housing rack 1 in a storehouse 2 are transferred to a deck 3 by an accessor 4 to read and write the contents, the contents are stored in a magnetic disk 5 and also the using state is stored 1. When the contents of magnetic disk 5 are filled up, the contents of the medium with least frequency in use are written back to the medium which is transferred to the deck 3 by referring to the using state being stored in the magnetic disk 5, and the contents with relatively higher frequency in use are held by the magnetic disk, then the reading/writing of the contents with high frequency in use by the access to the disk are realized.</p> |
