PURPOSE:To automatically add a program trace count function confirmation processing while executing another test program. CONSTITUTION:Concerning a trace point setting method (a), a tester side program 1 is provided with a maintenance person turn-on station data collecting means 11, address content collecting means 12 on the side of a device to be tested designated by station data, and jump instruction setting means 13 to set a jump instruction into the patch (empty) area of a program on the side of the device to be tested to the address part of the program on the side of the device to be tested designated by the station data. Further, a +1 update processing setting means 14 is provided to set a processing for updating the contents in a fixed area by +1 to the patch area of a program 2 on the side of the device to be tested, and a collecting instruction setting means 15 is provided to set instructions collected in advance after the processing for updating the contents in the fixed area by +1. Then, a trace count confirming method (b) is constituted so as to transfer the program, which is changed by the trace point setting method (a), to the side of the device to be tested, and to confirm that program. |
