PURPOSE:To judge the propriety of numeric value inputted from a numerical input means by displaying plural functional information related to image formation and plural messages for instructing the change of display contents, and moreover letting different input means correspond to the display positions of plural messages for instructing the change of different display contents. CONSTITUTION:An image forming device is provided with a display means 202 having plural display positions, plural input means 5 disposed in the respectively corresponding positions to plural display positions in the display means 202, and a numerical input means for inputting numerical information. The display means 202 is capable of changing display contents and displays plural functional information related to image formation and plural messages for instructing the change of display contents. The respectively different input means then correspond to the display positions of plural messages displayed simultaneously to instruct the change of mutually different display contents. A control means is capable of judging the propriety of numerical information from the numerical input means. |
