PURPOSE:To provide a cordless telephone set which attains the automatic dialing operations with the recognition of speech at a base station and all mobile stations. CONSTITUTION:When an automatic dialing is carried out at a base station with the recognition of speech, a connection control circuit 20 connects the voice signals received through a telephone receiver 19 of the base station to a speech recognizing circuit 21. Meanwhile the circuit 20 connects a radio circuit 18 to the circuit 21 when an automatic dialing operation is carried out at a mobile station with the recognition of speech. In both cases the circuit 21 informs the main control circuit 17 of the speech recognizing result. Thus the circuit 17 automatically dials the telephone number in response to the received recognizing result. |
