The ceiling board is engraved for patterns with a device of nemerical control. The board is adhesively applied with a white paper on its surface to be coated with a mixture of titanium oxide and an adhesive (PVA) and then covered with a polyester film by spraying unsaturated polyester resin dilluted with a curing agent. When hardened, the polyester film is removed for the board surface to be engraved with an engraving device of numerical control having a program for pattern engraving. The engraving device has various knives available for attachement. The automated pattern engraving with an CNC obtains good decorational patterns with a reduced cost of production.
