<p>PURPOSE:To provide an X-Y coordinate input device capable of holding a sphere to be rotated in an always stable state at a low cost by devising the shape of a supporting member so as not to damage the three-point support of the sphere to be rotated even if the member for supporting the sphere is abrased. CONSTITUTION:A clearance hole 27a for loosely inserting the bottom part of the sphere 34 to be rotated in it and band-like curved faces 27c having curved faces approximated to the outer surface of the sphere 34 are formed on the synthetic resin-made sphere supporting member 25 for mounting the sphere 34 to form projected parts 27b arranged on three positions separated at equal intervals around the clearance hole 27a and the vicinity of the bottom part of the sphere 34 is supported at three points by respective band-like curved faces 27c of these projected parts 27b.</p> |
