<p>A melanin-coated pigment prepared by coating a carrier with a readily alkali-soluble natural melanin, and a cosmetic containing the pigment. The melanin-coated pigment is highly safe and has an intense and high-saturation color tone, and the cosmetic containing the same can be expected to have both of ultraviolet-absorbent and antioxidant effects.</p> |
