<p>Precast concrete stay or strut member remains in its mould which provides the outer casing. The mould is cavity walled plastics and the cavities can be stiffened inside to provide rigidity and better resistance to loading. The mould can be centrifugal, injection moulded, extruded, or deep drawn from film. The mould protects the concrete from weather, corrosion etc. and at the same time provides the decorative finish required.</p> |
