PURPOSE:To reduce a shock at the time of speed change in an automatic transmission in which a shift up operation is performed by reducing an input shaft rotation speed so that the rate of change therein may be equal to a target rotation speed change rate after setting of an initial duty factor of a solenoid valve for operating a hydraulic clutch. CONSTITUTION:After (Ni)' is read in step S60, a rotation speed change rate (Nt)' at a starting time point for speed change and a change rate (Nt)'' in this rotation speed change rate are determined (S61). Then, an initial duty factor Da is corrected (S64, S65, S68, S69) on the basis of the (Nt)' and (Nt)'' (S62, S63, S66, S67). |
