PURPOSE:To dispense with an integrating capacitor for distance measurement by integrating distance measurement values of plural times. CONSTITUTION:The operation for projecting a light to a subject by a projecting means 1 and receiving the reflected light from the subject by a light receiving means 3 is repeated several times. These are operated by an analog distance measurement arithmetic means 4 to determine the subject distance, which is then A/D-converted to digital data. The digitalized subject distance is digitally accumulated by an adding means 6, whereby the subject distance can be determined from a plurality of distance measurement arithmetic values without using an integrating capacitor. |
