<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently remove dross by pressurized blast from a nozzle in a molten metal filtering device. CONSTITUTION:On the dross removing device, a filtering chamber 2 having a molten metal charging hole 3 and a molten metal discharging hole 4, a cover body 12 of the filtering chamber 2 and a filtering unit 5 incorporated in the filtering chamber 2 are provided. A molten metal charging passage 20 from the molten metal charging hole 3 to the filtering chamber 2 is made to be almost the same molten metal surface as the filtering chamber 2 by storing the molten metal 15, and in a part of the molten metal charging passage 20, a no lid part 21 providing no lid body 12 is formed. On the molten metal 15 surface in the filtering chamber 2, the nozzle 16 for removing the dross is fitted so as to collect the dross 20 floated up on the upper surface of the molten metal 15 toward the no lid part 21 by injecting gas in the direction of the no lid part 21.</p> |
