PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and to miniaturize the device by disusing a pair of timing rolls and a pair of fixing rolls necessary in the conventional device. CONSTITUTION:A sheet of paper 8 is supplied to a rotating contact part between a rotating electrophotographic sensitive body 1 and a transfer roll 2 which is not rotated. Due to difference between frictional force between the electrophotographic sensitive body 1 and the sheet of paper 8 and the frictional force between the transfer roll 2 and the sheet of paper 8, the sheet of paper 8 is stopped at the rotating contact part where the leading tip of the sheet of paper 8 is matched. As an electromagnetic solenoid 5 is released at a prescribed timing, the transfer roll 2 is rotated and the sheet of paper 8 is transported to the rotating contact part where the toner image is transferred to the sheet of paper 8. Furthermore, as the transfer roll 2 is heated by a halogen lamp 19, etc., transfer and thermal fixing are simultaneously performed. Then, functions of the conventional pair of timing rolls and the pair of fixing rolls are carried out by the rotating contact part between the electrophotographic sensitive body 1 and the transfer roll 2. |
