PURPOSE:To provide a miniaturized and inexpensive developing device with which developer is uniformly supplied extending over the whole of an image area while it is smoothly recycled and an excellent image without a fault such as irregularity can be stably formed. CONSTITUTION:On the bottom part of the toner housing tank Rt of a developing device 4 which is made to be a unit as a toner unit U1, a screw 4d which carries in discharge toner is installed by being extended along the longitudinal direction of the unit U1. Then, a cleaner 6, a photosensitive drum 1 and an electrostatic charge brush 2 are made to be a unit as a toner unit U2. Besides, the returning pipe 21 of the discharge toner is laid at the upper part of the reception part of the discharge toner formed by making the bottom part, where the screw part 4d of the side wall of the unit U2 is extended, project from the side part of the cleaner 6. |
