<p>The invention concerns a method for making a user identification unit (8), the identification unit comprising first (1) and second (2) housing parts and an electronic card (3) bearing electronic components (4) designed to be interconnected, the edge (10) of one of the two housing parts comprising a plastic weld rib (6) enabling an ultrasound welding process: The method comprises the following steps: placing the electronic card (3) in one first housing part (1), assembling the second housing part (2) on the first housing part (1), fixing the second housing part (2) on the first housing part (1) by an ultrasound welding process. The invention is characterised in that it comprises, prior to the fixing step, an intermediate step which consists in deposition of an elastic material (5) of predefined thickness on at least a region of the electronic card (3) and/or on at least a region of the first (1) and second (2) housing parts, such that during the step fixing the two housing parts, the elastic material (5) protects the electronic components (3) as well as their connections by damping the vibrations imparted thereto. The invention also concerns a vehicle locking system and a user identification method.</p> |
