PURPOSE:To provide a Japanese input device capable of accessing and displaying a parenthesis code by the input of a specific character code string or one conversion operation. CONSTITUTION:The Japanese input device is provided with a 'KANA' (Japanese syllabary) character input means 11, a 'KANA'/'KANJI' (Chinese character) conversion means 12 for converting a 'KANA' character code string into a 'KANA'/'KANJI' mixed character code, a parenthesis conversion means 15 for converting a specific 'KANA' character code string into parenthesis codes for start and end, a parenthesis backward movement means 16 for moving the 2nd character code counted from the head of a character code string input the end of the determined character code string when a specific character code string exists on the head of the character code string, a decision means 13 for deciding a temporarily converted 'KANA'/'KANJI' mixed character code string, and a storage means 14 for storing the decided 'KANA'/'KANJI' mixed code string as a sentence and constituted so as to easily input a parenthesized character string. |
