The compsn. comprises:- (a) a chlorine-contg. polymer, and (b) cpd(s). of formula (I) and/or its tautomeric form where X is O or S; R1 is 1-20C alkjyl or phenyl opt. substd. by 1-3 A, residues; A1 is 1-12C alkyl, halogen, OH, MeO or EtO; R2 is as for R1; R3 is H or R2 and R3 together form a gp. of formjla -CO-(CH2)n- or gp. (I); n is 1 or 2; the C=O gp. is linked to the N-atom and R4 = halogen, 1-9C alkoxy or 1-9C alkyl. (I) may be in salt form. Pref. (I) is used in the form of its Na, K, Mg, Ca or Al salt or a hydrochoride, a hydrobromide, sulphate, hydrogensulphate or (hydrogen) phosphate salt. The compsn. also contains an Me (II)-carboxylate and/or Me(II)-phenolate, where Me(II) is Ba, Ca, Mg or Zn, and an epoxy cpd. and/or a phoshate. USE - (I) is used for stabilising chlorine-contg. polymers against heat and/or light (esp. PVC).
