The hull has a front, tapering section (1) a middle section (3) and a rear section (4). Each section is made from two symmetrical side sections joined by the keel line weld. A stern panel (8) completes the hull. The middle section can be made from a single pressing. The gunwales are shaped into a lip to attach the decking and cabin. The side panels have sloping profiles under the hull and with a fold line partway up the sides for streamlining and strength. No separate ribbing is required. USE/ADVANTAGE - Light craft, rowing boat, dinghy. Minimum use of stainless steel, cost saving construction requiring no ribbing.
