The connector for electrical batteries of the type used in road vehicles has electrical cable lines (11,12) and one or more fluid lines (17,18). The connector provides a link between the battery on one side and a charge system on the other. The fluid lines connect with a battery fluid supply during charging to compensate for losses. The connector is formed by two units (1,2) one of which one (2) has a projecting plug (5) that engages a socket section (4) in the other unit (1). Formed features (7,8) ensure that the units can only engage in one correct position. USE/ADVANTAGE - Increases range of application of battery. Provides electrical and fluid connections.
