Appts. to join synthetic tube to tube body by high frequency heating - has non-conducting female die with metallic induction ring insert to transfer heat to tube end by conduction
摘要
A tube body of synthetic film is attached to a synthetic tube end by high frequency heating while under pressure from a female and male die. An induction coil on a non-ferrous former with a central opening and a radial slot acts on the active part of the female die which consists of an insulating material with a closed metallic induction ring. A cooling channel can be placed near the induction ring. This induction ring can be integrated into the die and can be a vapour deposited metallic layer. USE/ADVANTAGE - The invention uses induction heating for attaching tube ends without requiring metallic layers in the film which cause recycling problems.
