<p>A power train system having a continuous speed variable transmission is provided with a front clutch, disposed between an engine and the transmission, for connecting and disconnecting the transmission of engine torque to the transmission and a rear clutch, disposed between the transmission and a power train output shaft, for preventing the transmission of reactive torque to the transmission through the power train output shaft.
