PURPOSE:To provide an ink jet recording apparatus equipped with an inexpensive safe ink supply device of high reliability reducing the penetration of air bubbles into a passage at the time of the replacement of an ink tank and ensured in the sealability of its connection part. CONSTITUTION:In an ink jet recording apparatus, a recording head 10, an ink tank 1 supplying ink to the recording head 10, an ink supply needle 9 extracting ink from the ink tank 1 and the film 4 arranged to the ink taking-out port 3 of the ink tank 1 are provided and at least one ink supply orifice 9a having a fine diameter is provided to the tip of the ink supply needle 9 and two seal members 6 are provided between the film 4 and the ink taking-out port 3. |
