Phosphorus contg. alkoxylation prods. prepn. - by reacting alkylene oxide with phosphorus halide(s), then adding magnesium silicate
摘要
Prepn. of phosphorus-contg. alkoxylation prod. comprises reaction of phosphorus tri- and/or oxyhalides with lower alkylene oxides, esp. ethylene and/or propylene oxides. Reaction is at 40-100 deg.C and a pressure of at most 0.5 mPa above atmospheric pressure. The catalyst is esp. a halide of Gp IV b, pref. titanium chloride and/or zirconium chloride. The reaction prod. is treated with magnesium silicate during or after working up. The magnesium silicate is a synthetic material, and is esp. a colloidal magnesium silicate. ADVANTAGE - Avoids side reactions and prod. cleavage while giving good space-time yields.
