PURPOSE:To provide an electrolytic equipment which has no decrease in voltage efficiency and is chemically stable by arranging a carbon fiber structure between a carbon plate or resin impregnated carbon plate, which is a cell single electrode plate placed at both ends of cell stack, and a current collecting plate and bringing them into press contact with each other. CONSTITUTION:A carbon fiber structure 4 is arranged between a cell single electrode plate 1 and a current collecting plate 2. The carbon fiber structure 4 consists of the string or felt of graphite fiber, and the ratio of its apparent specific gravity to true specific gravity is preferably limited to 1/3 or less. By arranging the carbon fiber structure serving as a cushion between the end plate 1 and the current collecting plate 2, the softness of the cell stack is increased and the contact of the end plate to the current collecting plate is increased and conductivity in the contact part is also improved. |
