PURPOSE:To prevent a faulty setup, by deciding again the kind of a board before storing the board when completing the setup changing, and by storing the board after deciding whether the kind of the board subjected to the setup changing is identical with the kind of the board to be stored or not. CONSTITUTION:A signal for indicating the completion of an setup changing work is inputted from a parts mounting machine 4 setup to an apparatus 3 for changing a setup automatically. At this time, the apparatus 3 waits for the kind of a board to be transferred from a board deciding apparatus 2, before transferring a signal for storing an arrival board to the parts mounting machine 4. When the setup changing work is completed, the board deciding apparatus 2 decides again the kind of the board, and it transfers the board to the apparatus 3 for changing setup automatically. The apparatus 3 decides whether the kind of the board transferred again is identical with the kind of the board subjected to the setup changing or not. When the kinds of both the boards are different from each other, the apparatus 3 decides whether the kind of the board transferred again is registered or not, and it perform the setup changing work. When the kinds of both the boards are identical with each other, the apparatus 3 transfers the board storing signal to the parts mounting machine 4, and a production is initiated while storing the board in the parts mounting machine 4. |
