<p>PURPOSE:To improve the display characteristic of an LCD when this LCD is dynamically driven by a one-chip microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:A 1st resistor R 16 which sets the level of the drive current of an LCD 26 is connected to a display controller 16 through a drive current terminal TLCDV. Meanwhile a 2nd resistor R 17 which sets the frequency of a system clock is connected to a clock generator 17 through a feedback output terminal TOSCOUT and a feedback input terminal TOSCIN. A capacitor C 16 is connected between the terminals TLCDV and TOSCIN. Then the signal outputted to the terminal TOSCOUT is fed back to the terminal TOSCIN through the resistor R 17. At the same time, the voltage acquired at the terminal TLCDV is supplied to the terminal TOSCIN through the capacitor C 16. Thus the first cycle period is increased for a unit display period set by the dynamic drive in regard of the system clock.</p> |
