摘要 PURPOSE:To suppress the surface vibration of a polygon mirror which affects a decrease in picture quality by providing a sticking part for sticking a weight for gravity center balance to a pressurization boss fitted to the end part of the rotary shaft of a motor on the opposite side from the polygon mirror. CONSTITUTION:The pressurization boss 24 is fitted to the lower end part of the rotary shaft 12 on the opposite side from the polygon mirror 10 and energized through a compression spring 25 and then ball bearings 17 and 18 are pressurized through said operation. A shaft hole 25 wherein the pressurization boss 24 and rotary shaft 12 are pressed is formed and a circumferential groove 27 is formed at the outer peripheral part as the weight sticking part for sticking the weight 26. Therefore, the weight 26 is stuck even on the pressurization boss 24 positioned at the end part of the rotary shaft 12 on the opposite side from the polygon mirror 10 and then the balance can be corrected as to two surfaces at both ends of the rotary shaft 12, so the weight balance between the rotary polygon mirror 10 and rotary shaft opening becomes excellent.
