PURPOSE: To obtain a microbicidal composition affording more effective and wide control against microbes in various systems. CONSTITUTION: This microbicidal composition comprises a 1st ingredient: 2- methyl-3-isothiazolone and a 2nd ingredient: at least one kind of compound selected from the group consisting of p-chloro-m-xylenol, sodium dichlorophen, bis(2-hydroxy-5-chlorophenyl)sulfide, benzyl bromoacetate, dodecylamine, 4-(2- nitrobutyl)morpholine and dipropylamino ether in the weight ratio: 1st ingredient/2nd ingredient of about (40:1) to about (1:32). |
