Electrical distribution device with automatic fault segregation and automatic reset, allowing remote control of all the receiving devices of the installation by means of two hierarchically organised communications buses. It includes, on the live wire (2) of the common inlet line (1), a static electronic switch (28) which, in the event of detection of the onset of a fault by one of the sensors (16, 20) placed on one of the outgoing lines (4), is automatically opened by a processing unit (30). The relay (24) for isolating this outgoing line is then actuated on opening, then the static relay (28) is reclosed, the whole operation taking less than 5 milliseconds. Internal (31, 32) or external (33) opening or closing commands can also be transmitted to this processing unit (30), either in the first case by a link (32) with a simplified protocol or, in the other case, by a bus (33) with a sophisticated protocol, capable also of being connected to other similar distribution devices. <IMAGE>
