<p>PURPOSE:To provide a flanged tube of a large-diametered composite tube structure which is used in the field of plants and is not damaged and structurally excellent when the tube is tightened and fixed by a bolt or the like in its use. CONSTITUTION:A flanged tube is provided with a body part 4 where a collar part 2 is provided to the end part of a tube body 1, and reinforcement layers 5,10 consisting of the fiber-reinforced synthetic resin which are formed from the outer circumferential surface of the tube body 1 to the rear surface of the collar part 2. A metallic core material 7 is embedded between thse reinforcement layers 5,10, and this core material 7 is fixed within the reinforcement layers 5, 10 by a hardening connecting member 6. This arrangement prevents the core material 7 from being moved within the reinforcement layers, and no shearing loads are applied to the welds 3,3 when bolts and nuts are tightened.</p> |
