PURPOSE:To wind a striplike member around the periphery of a molding drum while achieving the conservation of equipment and labor. CONSTITUTION:The pressing force of a press roller 93 is calculated on the basis of the length of a striplike member 14 measured prior to winding and the striplike member 14 is wound around a molding drum 11. At this time, the press roller 93 is pressed to the strip like member 14 by the calculated pressing force to extend the striplike member 14 in its longitudinal direction in such an extension that the length of the striplike member 14 becomes almost same to the peripheral length of the molding drum 11. At this time, since the striplike member 14 is extended over its almost entire length, the length of the striplike member 14 can be corrected to a large extent and the strict length control of the striplike member 14 after cutting becomes unnecessary. |
