PURPOSE:To facilitate the installation of the laser treating device for dental purposes for an intracavity treatment using a laser diode and to improve the hand of use thereof by providing a power source input connector to accept a power source from a dental chair. CONSTITUTION:This laser treating device for medical purposes adequate for treatment of a cervical dentin hyperesthesia is constituted of a main unit part 1 which is equipped with a power source and control function, a hand piece 2 which is equipped with a laser diode for irradiating the inside of the oral cavity with a laser beam at the front end, and a connecting cord 3 which connects the main unit part 1 and the hand piece 2. The hand piece 2 has a switch 5 for generating a start-stop signal for irradiation of the laser diode and a laser irradiation port 6 for irradiation with the laser beam. The power source input connector 4 is provided in the main unit part 1. The power is supplied from the dental chain, thereby the installation of the device is facilitated. |
