PURPOSE:To enable printing of high resolving power and continuous fast pointing by providing heat-absorbing elements at every dots of heating elements and generating endothermic action only in the heat-absorbing element corresponding to a heated dot. CONSTITUTION:A linear heating resistor 1 is provided so as to cross control lead wires 3(2a, 2b, 2c...) at a right angle and the control lead wires 2 are placed at the position becoming the center of one dot at an equal interval and cooling materials 3(3a, 3b, 3c...) are provided at every dots with respect to the heating resistor 1. A current passes through the control lead wires 2 from a heating power supply by a keeping command to flow in the heating resistor 1 and the heating resistor 1 of one dot is heated up to necessary temp. The current flowing through the heating resistor flows to the cooling materials 3 being in contact with the heating resistor 1 and the heat emitted to the side opposite to the surface of recording paper among the heat generated in the heating resistor 1 is absorbed by the cooling materials 3. The current flowing to the cooling materials 3 flows to the radiation plate 7 connected to earth. An equal amount of heat is generated in the bonded surfaces of the cooling materials 3 and the radiation plate 7 simultaneously with the absorption of heat to be naturally cooled by the radiation plate 7. |
