PURPOSE:To provide an outboard motor allowing lubricating oil in an oil pan to be drained easily with an engine as it is fitted to a casing and even in the upward tilted position. CONSTITUTION:An engine 7 is disposed at the upper end part of a vertically extended hollow casing. An oil pan 13 for storing engine lubricating oil is accommodated in the casing, and the front end part of the casing is fitted in the upward-downward tiltable state to a hull through a bracket 2. In an outboard engine of such structure, the oil pan 13 is provided at its bottom face with an oil discharging drain hole 14, and the casing is provided at its rear wall face with an oil drain hole 17 connected to the drain hole 14. |
